Guest Post for Penhaligon's Blog today; Adventures in Scent

Please head over to storied English perfume house Penhaligon's blog today, Adventures in Scent, as I pay homage to their Lilies & Spice perfume, and recount a lifelong love of lilies. I'd love it if you'd stop by and leave a comment about your favorite or strongest scent memories.

  1. That's such a beautiful story about you and your grandmother. I wish I had that kind of powerful scent associations from the past. Great piece.

  2. Hi Carrie, I really enjoy your writing. This piece is quite evocative for me. I get a warm nostalgia whenever I smell violet or orris. Not sure why, but perhaps it does have a connection to my grandmother also. Thank you for the lovely blog.

  3. Thank you so much Sharryn! I also love violet and orris, along with lilies, those are my favorite florals in perfumery.
